With the PABOUK OPEN, we find what makes the success of the new generation PABOUK OPEN, namely:

  • Manufacturing now in infusion guaranteeing the quality of the composite and a superior level of finish,

  • a revised Houari rig with a boom allowing all maneuvers to be returned to the cockpit and an aluminum pick, spars lighter than the initial wooden version

  • the possibility of having toe clips along the gangways for greater safety and a dolphinier with post anchor facilitating fairground anchoring

We find on the  PABOUK OPEN the efficient and simple catboat rigging which does not require years of practice to get started, the 600 liter liquid ballast allowing an unrivaled ballast ratio and the secure cockpit with an even increased reserve of buoyancy.

The new cockpit of the PABOUK OPEN is large enough to accommodate 4-5 adults without hindering each other during maneuvers and thus share moments of escape on the water in the fresh air with friends or family without forgetting the friendly picnic break around the cockpit table at anchor at the bottom of a small cove

The owner is autonomous when it comes to preparing his boat before or after sailing. The Pabouk, stripped of its ballast once on its trailer, allows easy transport with a standard vehicle in order to discover new navigation areas and, thanks to its reasonable size, to control wintering and maintenance costs.

Finally, the PABOUK OPEN, like its brothers, is a new boat made to last beyond fashion, respecting the PABOUK lineage and having its place in the family heritage.

Experience shows that even in navigation areas with currents, a 2-3 HP outboard is sufficient.

The electric outboard option also makes sense on this type of dayboat.
